Senior Network Engineer (Cisco ACI / Nexus) for a Data Center project

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with a strong background in data center architecture and operations to join a dynamic, international project on a 100% remote basis. If you have deep hands-on expertise with Cisco ACI and Cisco Nexus technologies and enjoy managing the full lifecycle of network infrastructure—from bringing new systems online and executing changes to handling 2nd/3rd-level support and Major Incidents—this role is a great fit. You will collaborate with a global team in a regulated environment at a competitive rate of 40 EUR/hour.

Ce vei face

  • Cisco Infrastructure Operations: Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Cisco ACI and Cisco Nexus environments.
  • Fabric & Lifecycle Management: Execute Cisco ACI fabric upgrades, EPG changes, and Smart Licensing administration, overseeing infrastructure from commissioning to decommissioning.
  • Incident Management: Handle 2nd and 3rd-level incidents, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), participate in on-call rotations, and manage Major Incidents.
  • Change Execution: Perform planned network changes (including evening or weekend maintenance windows) and participate in weekly Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
  • Monitoring & Analytics: Configure CheckMK monitoring tools and analyze network performance anomalies within Splunk.
  • Security & Compliance: Oversee vulnerability management, maintain CMDB accuracy, support audit procedures, and assist with Disaster Recovery (DR) readiness.

Ce aduci cu tine

  • Technical Expertise: Deep, hands-on operational knowledge of Cisco ACI (APIC, tenant policies, L4-L7 service graphs) and Cisco Nexus / NX-OS (vPC, FEX, M-FC) within data center environments.
  • Certifications: CCNA or CCNP Data Center (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Process & Frameworks: Experience working with ITIL frameworks in regulated environments, along with proven expertise in managing Major Incidents.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
