Take the lead in shaping enterprise-grade GIS infrastructure. Join us as a Lead ArcGIS DevOps Engineer (6-month contract, fully remote) and collaborate directly with engineering leadership to drive platform reliability, automation, and Kubernetes-based ArcGIS deployments

Ce vei face

  • Platform Ownership & Architecture: Design, configure, upgrade, and manage ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, ArcGIS Server, Data Store, Web Adaptors), taking shared ownership of system reliability, high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and performance.
  • Kubernetes & Cloud Operations: Run and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise on AWS EKS (Kubernetes) in a customized cloud environment.
  • Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Define IaC standards using Terraform and Helm, automating provisioning, scaling, backup, and recovery workflows.
  • CI/CD & Deployment: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments, upgrades, and configuration management.
  • Monitoring & Observability: Set up comprehensive monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, and operational runbooks.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor senior engineers, drive operational best practices, and collaborate closely with GIS management, data, and analytics teams to shape platform standards.

What You Bring (Requirements)

  • ArcGIS Expertise: Strong hands-on experience operating ArcGIS Enterprise in production environments.
  • AWS & Kubernetes: Proven track record running enterprise workloads on AWS, ideally with EKS / Kubernetes (or containerized platforms).
  • IaC & Automation: Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm) and scripting skills in Python or Bash.
  • System Fundamentals: Deep understanding of Linux, networking, and cloud security principles.
  • Communication & Language: Excellent collaboration skills and fluent English (C1).

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with ArgoCD or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
  • Background in geospatial data workflows or enterprise GIS platforms.
